Having taught English in a variety of learning environments to a wide range of abilities, I have learned how to provide accommodations and modify curricula in order to differentiate instruction for all types of learners. I teach to the students’ interests in order to keep school engaging and relevant. I am known for integrating art and technology into my creative lesson plans. I do my best to create positive collaborative relationships in order to best serve the needs of our students and maintain high expectations with patience.

I teach at Odyssey because Odyssey is a place where students feel free expressing themselves creatively. I am in awe of our often spirited and poignant classroom discussions. I am thrilled that they want to write more poetry and fiction. I am grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive learning community!
