ADMISSION PROCESS
Our application process has 3 steps: conversation, application, and three-day visit. If you are interested in enrolling your child for the following school year, we recommend that you apply between October - March, so that there is enough time to move through the process and have your student do their three day visit.
Step 1: Virtual Meet & Greet
Please contact the School directly at info@odysseyschool.com to begin the process. Please tell us about your child: age, grade, and a very brief description of his or her learning needs. Please also provide a name, email, and phone number to contact parent or guardian. The Head of School will reach out to schedule a virtual Meet and Greet. These virtual meetings usually last about thirty minutes and serve as an opportunity for us to learn a little more about your student and for you to learn a little more about our program. We generally arrange these meetings using Google Hangouts.
Step 2: Tour & Application
After we've met virtually, we invite families to come take a tour of our campus. Odyssey is a unique learning environment, and we want families to really get to know us throughout the application process. We encourage families to bring students along for the tour so they can start to visualize what it would be like to be an Odyssey student!
At this time, we encourage families apply to Odyssey School, you will need to complete our application, sign our records release form, submit any relevant neuropsychological information you may have, and pay our $100 application fee. This fee is often paid when families come in to tour our campus or at the time of the student visit. You can send your application, Records release form, and neuropsych evaluation to info@odysseyschool.com or bring in physical copies when you come in for your tour.
Step 3: Student Three-Day Visit
After taking a tour and completing an application packet, our admissions committee will extend an opportunity for your child to do a three-day visit at Odyssey School, if it seems like Odyssey is a good fit. Your child will be warmly welcomed and introduced to peers, and will follow a normal schedule with a selected group of students. They may bring work from home or join in the current classwork. Over the three-day visit, your family and our faculty will have time to fully explore the fit. Once the three-day visit is completed, Odyssey faculty and staff will carefully consider the application and make a decision. We hope to welcome you and your child into our caring, connected community.
