Kate Jewell

I am the Head of School here at Odyssey, and it is such an honor to lead this kind, inclusive, and growth-oriented community!  My educational philosophy is founded on the belief that it is absolutely essential to make the classroom an inviting and exciting place to be. I place a high priority on developing positive, meaningful relationships with each of my students. My goal is to foster student growth based on their unique set of skills, interests, and academic needs. I also think it is essential to make the learning process as engaging and entertaining as possible. As Head of School, it is my job to empower our teachers and staff to build these connections with our students. We foster a community of care here at Odyssey School. Clear, kind, and consistent communication amongst staff and families is central to our goals.  Odyssey School is a place where we value every student, their individual backgrounds, and their unique abilities. I am proud to be a part of such a caring community!
